Photography is my family business and cinematography is my passion. Just to clarity my identity, I am Edmund not “Keng” but a.k.a KY Lee. “Keng” is the name of my family business. My role is to continue the legacy for decades to come.

Well, enough with the history. Back to the topic. This is the 2nd video project collaborate with Edmund Tham Photography.

This is the 1st project in HD format. I must thank my friend, Zach Chin, (http://zachchin.com/) to lend me his new baby(EOS5D Mark2) for try out. Indeed, the result makes me fall in love to video again and again.

Wedding Fair @ Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Kuala Lumpur

ZunHong & PhaikLin 03.01.09

I got to know Zun Hong and Phaik Lin from a photographer friend – Louis Png (check out his work, its awesome!). Their wedding was held in Bijian – A fine Malay cuisine at Jalan Ceylon. It is a cool place to hang out.

There are some incident happen on that day – I lost my backpack! As usual, no photographer would ever wanted to carry the big bag pack around. I would normally find a spot to hide my backpack. Back then, they are having two different session in the hut. 1st the matrimony then followed by hi-tea. I was shooting alone that day and my concentration was on the couple. Just after the matrimony, waiter and waitress were actually start arranging the setting for the next agenda. While I m covering on the other side. After everything was settled then, I begun to look for my bag to unload some stuff. Oh gosh! Where the hack is my bag?! I search around asking the people around. It was so embarrassing and scare too    The worst thing is I gotta work and no time for me to search for it. Oh no – I gotta spare money for new one

The christian saying – the dead end of human being, is the starts for God’s journey.(something like that la, I guess) I did pray also la. So an angle drop by and help me up la He is non other than Keith – Zun Hong’s church mate. Luckily and good to meet you! Thanks Bro! Finally, he manage to find it.

Well, lesson learned. Don’t simply put your bags. Lets enjoy the day!

Ezra Lee

Today my boy is 1 year and 6 month old. He is handsome – gaining the best feature from his old man…lol

Well, God has been really good to us. We are counting His blessing. I have something to testify. Back to a year ago, Ezra had a really bad experience. Attention to all parents, please don’t desipite your children, espcially the younger one. Ezra right hand being scald by hot soup (fish pace noodle) during the 7th day of Chinese New Year 2008!

Here is the scenario – We were having dinner at a famous fish pace noodle stall(best in Tmn Len Seng and Tmn Tun Hussien Onn).As the food being deliver, my wife was paying the money at the same time, Ezra is on my lap, no baby seat, nah nah, nothing. Why? Because, I under estimate a 5 month + kiddo. When the food arrived, I hug him and I grab his left hand, because the waiter serve from our left side. Hah! I forget the right hand. As my attention divert to the soup and the payment. This is it! The little right hand was grabbing the bowl when I turn my eye balls to him. As I saw it, he begins to pull the bowl. I quickly stand on my feet. However, its too late. The hot soup poured on his hand. All of these happens in seconds. Then of course he scream like never before la. Jayne and I was shock. We really out of mind. His hand was badly scald – the outer skin peeled off and lots of water dripping out. I will never forget that moment. Then we quickly send him to a clinic nearby. Kanasai! They were afraid to accept this case and advice us to the hospital. I was really mad at them. Can’t you do first-aid?! or give me some lotion to stop the burning inside? Then we rush to HUKM. Another kanasai! I wonder what is emergency to them? Hey friends, make sure you bring all your documents with you all the time. The hospital need this for registration then they will send you into the emergency hall and wait there. The prosess was damm slow. Only 1 doctor around handling patients. I ask God, what should I do? I was crying hoping that the doctor will come to my son soon. Finally my mother in-law arrived and saw the scenario. She requested to discharge and rush to a private hospital(PSC) in Pudu.

After 2 hours of rushing from the stall to clinic to HUKM then to PSC – Ezra finally in control. The doctor thought us some first-aid knoledge. For burn or scald by hot stuff – all you have to do is to let the burned area rinse by cold running water(tap water). This is to stop the buning degree inside the burned area. (Ayio! I learned this when I was a brigade in school leh) If Ezra’s hand did run thru this first-aid process. It won’t be that bad. At the end, we had the rest of chinese new year days in hospital. No valentines day but we had great bonding between three of us.

God never forsake us. Today, Ezra’s hand is as smooth as the before. Praise God!
